Meg Komarek
As a small town girl from Pennsylvania, Meg quickly became known as “the anywhere but here girl,” due to her love of travel and interest in being extremely active. Once she picked up a camera she decided this would be her way to keep moving and exploring new things. She studies photography at Northeastern University and plans to pursue a career photographing all over the world. Through Northeastern’s program in Egypt, Meg is able to both explore her love for photography as well as discover a new culture. She enjoys talking to the locals and trying to understand their story through broken English and hand gestures, which she tries to capture throughout her work.
